O Neg Club

You have the best blood type there is: O Negative. O Neg is the "Universal Donor" blood type; ANYONE regardless of blood type can receive O Neg. This means in case of an accident, where there isn't time to find out a patient's blood type, O Neg is used. If there is a blood shortage and we run out of say AB+, then those patients can receive O Neg in its place. There is a down side, if your are O neg you can only receive O Neg, so O Negs have to provide for themselves AND everyone else in an emergency. About 8% of the population is type O Negative. Since we here at the Community Blood Bank ask you for more, its only fair that we give you more.

So if you donate three times in a calendar year you will receive a free O-Neg T-shirt with the distinctive "O Neg" logo. If you are kind enough to give life four times in a calendar year you will get a 4-Life T-shirt. On your fifth trip in a calendar year you will receive an umbrella with the Community Blood Bank's logo on it. If you donate 6 times in a calendar year, which is the most you can donate in a year, you will receive another gift from the Community Blood Bank. We haven't decided what this gift is yet but we asure you that it will be great!

After donating 3 times in a calender year you will receive this O Neg T-Shirt

The O Neg club shirt was redesigned and revamped after 4 years of the old style. The 2008 shirts are the same high quality pre-shrunk 100% cotton as the prior years were, but feature some new graphics as you can see to your left.



 

 

 

After donating 4 times you will receive this 4 Life T-Shirt.


 

The 5th time gift.

The 5th time gift is in! You voted and picked the umbrellas.

In previous years we've had Mag flashlights, Regulation poker playing cards, Coleman Coolers and other great gifts. This was some great work from our friends at Promo Specialties Inc.

The 6th time gift.

For every O-Neg donor that donates 6 times in 2008 they will receive a special gift on their 6th donation. This gift has yet to be determined.
