GIVE TO GET AWAY TRIP PROMOTION WITH CAPPABIANCA TRAVEL
The Community Blood Bank's travel promotion, Give to Get Away, ran from February 4th through March 21st. The winner chosen at random donated blood at 1:10pm on Friday February 22ndth at a blood drive at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville New York. Her name is Karen Pease and she is thrilled to be the winner.
Cappabianca Travel sponsored the 'Give to Get Away' promotion where one lucky donor won a $2500 travel credit that they use can on one of many great get aways. All of this just by taking less than an hour to save a life.
"We are so excited for Karen. The Give to get Away promotion was a HUGE success for helping to keep the blood supply safe this winter." said Dan Desrochers, Director of Marketing at the Community Blood Bank. "Karen didn't give blood to win this contest, she gave to help someone in need. We are also so grateful for Cappabianca's support."
The Community Blood Bank is the exclusive supplier of blood products to all the hospitals in Erie, McKean, Warren and Elk Counties and is the preferred provider to all the hospitals in Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties in New York. Only blood donated with Community Blood Bank will help patients at these local hospitals.
