Donor Programs - 4 Life Club
Everyone who donates 4 times in a calendar year becomes a member of the 4-Life club and as a member donors get a 4-life T-shirt. The 4-life program is in its 14th year. Each year the shirts have had a new seasonal theme. The CBB has gone through all 4 seasons three times, but in 2009 we switched things up a bit! The 4 hearts has been integrated artfully into the new 2010 design.
A person is eligible to donate every 56 days, which works out to 6 times per year, so donating 4 times should be easy! In 2009, about 2,900 people received the 4-Life T-shirt. This represents about 11,600 units of blood. That means the people who donate 4 times or more make up the backbone of the blood supply. We hope you join them by donating regularly.
The 4 Life Club has thousands of members, some of them have shirts going all the way back to the beginning and they wear them proudly.
Our donors tell us that they love the feeling of earning their 4-Life shirt and having a nurse bring it to them while they are still donating, and all the other donors turn and say "How do I get a shirt like that?".
